This recording is a tribute to one of my oldest friends, Henry Gluch, who is facing health challenges.
Henry and I first recorded this song in Montreal, circa 1980.
I had his sax lifted from the original recording and had all the other tracks re-recorded in the last month.
I can actually remember writing this song.
I was heavily into The Specials at the time and while in Negril Jamaica, was introduced to the music of Yellowman and Lee 'Scratch' Perry. Wrote it while sitting on Seven Mile Beach ...
